Individual, Couples, and Family Therapy in Seattle, WA

Arielle Chiarelli M.A., LMFTA

Speranza Wellness was born out of my deep belief in the power of hope, connection, and healing. The name "Speranza," which means "hope" in Italian, not only honors my Italian-American roots but also speaks to the journey many of us take when we go to therapy—often feeling as though it is our last chance for change. I believe that building genuine, human connections is at the heart of effective therapy, and I am committed to fostering that sense of safety and trust with each person I work with.

My path to becoming a therapist began with a deep curiosity about how the systems we live in impact our individual experiences. After studying the history of law and ethics in the U.S., I became passionate about understanding the intersection between personal struggles and the larger societal forces that shape them.

My Specialties & Approach

I specialize in working with adults, teens, and couples who are ready to unpack the difficult and messy parts of their lives, whether it be anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, body image, or relationship challenges. As a narrative therapist, I believe YOU are the expert in your life and my goal is to collaborate and encourage you to identify what is holding you back from making the big changes desired in your life.

I take an integrative approach to therapy, blending narrative therapy, emotionally focused therapy, solution-focused therapy, and systems theory, while incorporating the Gottman Method (Level 1 certified) for couples. I am a member of the Association for Size, Diversity, and Health (ASDAH) and utilize the Health at Every Size Principles to guide my work with clients.

My goal is to create a safe space for you to explore all of the emotions connected to the human experience, provide resources when needed, and help create hope that change is possible.
